The qualified maths tutor who will teach your child

Esione Rachel Asakome - Graduation Picture.jpeg

I’m Esione, a qualified maths teacher and founder of Quantum Leap Tutors. I hold a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status and a master’s in Education, and bring classroom teaching and marking experience to my lessons.

I help learners build confidence, strengthen their understanding and develop the skills to tackle maths questions independently. My online tutoring covers primary maths, SATs and 11+ maths preparation, Key Stage 3, GCSE Foundation and Higher, and post-16 GCSE resits.

RACHEL, fOUnder & tutor

I know what it feels like to find maths hard, because I did too.

Class Whiteboard with Messages

I know how frustrating maths can feel when an explanation does not make sense. That is why I take time to identify where a learner is struggling, explain concepts clearly and use visual examples to make unfamiliar ideas easier to understand. We practise together, then I check that they can apply the skill independently before moving on.

For exam preparation, I teach students how to interpret questions, choose suitable methods and show their working clearly. My marking experience helps me explain why each step matters and how to avoid common mistakes.

Your child will learn directly with me, through one-to-one lessons or small groups of no more than five students. I keep parents informed about progress and areas that need further practice.

Whether your child needs help building foundations, keeping up at school or preparing for exams, I provide clear, patient teaching tailored to their starting point and goals.

Reaching quieter students
